"Stranger" (stylized in all lowercase) is the sixteenth and fourth deluxe track from Olivia Rodrigo's sophomore studio album, GUTS. It was released on November 24, 2023 and rereleased on March 22, 2024, through Geffen Records.

Background

The track was first teased in a video Olivia's team posted to their Instagram alongside "Obsessed", "Scared of My Guitar" and "Girl I've Always Been".

On October 18th, 2023, Olivia announced that "Stranger", along with the other deluxe tracks, would be released on a special edition vinyl called The Secret Tracks though RSD. It was polished up and given a re-release with the other tracks and a new one in GUTS (spilled), the deluxe version of the album.
