The Sour Tour is Olivia Rodrigo's debut concert tour, in support of her debut studio album SOUR which was released on May 21, 2021.
It started on April 5, 2022 in Portland, Oregon and ended on July 7, 2022 in London, England. Gracie Abrams, Holly Humberstone, and Baby Queen served as opening acts.[1]
Background[]
On December 6, 2021, Livies HQ, Rodrigo's official fan account run by her team, posted a video of Rodrigo playing the "pen challenge". The goal of the game is to create a sentence and then throw a pen in a cup. If the pen lands in the cup, the person must follow through with their sentence. Rodrigo said "If I get this in, I’m going on tour”, before throwing the pen and landing it in her cup, confirming that she would be touring for her debut album.[2] Tickets for the tour went on sale December 10.[3]
