Noah Kahan (born April 28, 1996)[1] is a American singer-songwriter signed with Republic Records in 2017 and quickly rose to fame with his hit single "Hurt Somebody". The song achieved gold status in the US and made its mark in several international markets. His debut album, Busyhead, was released in 2019, followed by two more albums within five years: I Was / I Am in 2021 and Stick Season in 2022. The success of Stick Season propelled him to mainstream commercial success and earned him a nomination for the Grammy Award for Best New Artist in 2023.

At 19, Kahan started touring with Milky Chance. Inspired by artists like Paul Simon and Hozier, he signed with Republic Records in 2017. His second album, I Was / I Am, was released in 2021. Kahan gained mainstream success with his third album, Stick Season, which debuted at number 14 on the Billboard 200 in 2022. He was nominated for Best New Artist at the Grammys and named in Time magazine's TIME100 Next list. "Stick Season" reached number 1 on the UK Singles Chart in 2024.
