Summary[]
Nini and Ricky spend their first valentines day since the drama in season one and Nini writes the song "The Best Part" as a gift for Ricky. She shows up at his old house, unaware of him moving, and tries an outdoor serenade from outside his window. It's only when an unknown girl opens the window does Nini find out that Ricky no longer lives there. Ricky, on the other hand, heads to the Youth Actors Conservatory to perform "Even When", a song that he wrote for Nini. He soon finds out Nini isn't in Denver, but back home, for him.
Throughout the day, unfortunate circumstances prevent the couple from meeting and hence, a couple minutes before midnight, they call each other at the same time (therefore reaching each others voicemails) and perform the songs.
