The track was written and likely recorded for Olivia's debut album SOUR, but was scrapped. The first time fans became aware of the song was through an interview for Our Era Magazine in 2020, where Olivia mentioned it was her favorite song she's ever written, describing it as a "very singer-songwriter, country type song".[1]
